Alexei, there is no logic to such craziness.
The question is not if human-on-human violence is a real thing because history is littered with too many examples. We have been capable of the most horrific actions you can imagine upon each other. The question is how does the human race remain so immature as to allow it to persist. Putin, and Putin’s Russia, are a throwback to the worst of human history. The parallels to the behavior and actions of Hitler, and the centuries of evil murderous predecessor dictators, tells us that we have a lot of work to do on the gene pool that spawns such sick behavior. I sometimes think our only hope is that people like Putin and the other maniacally bent of his ilk will grow old and die and be purged from humanity forever. I’m not holding my breath though. In the meantime, Putin just needs to go, and that is on the Russian people.
