Drunk, high or otherwise impaired. Times were very different though. There was much less animosity between men and women; more sisters and brothers; spiritually, if not biologically. It was the "free love" generation and sex with "friends"...and maybe even "just-now" acquaintances...was pretty common. Women seemed as interested as men. Birth control pills were more common than today I think too; though the Aids epidemic influenced behavior quite a bit.

I can't speak for everyone of that time, but for me and all of the people around our house / dorms, and our band and where we hang out, no meant no! If you did bad to one of your sisters your brothers might have want to have a very pointed moment with you.
