Hmmm. spinning the USSR as "good guys" is ballsy. One man's spin is another man's fairy tale.

Sri Lanka has had a tumultous history. When the Japanese bombed Colombo in April 1942 I wonder if you would call them the "good guys", because the guys you call the "bad guys" drove them away. Or in the 1958 riots between the Sinhalese and Tamil, who were the good guys / bad guys? When Sri Lanka became the "Socialist Democratic Republic of Sri Lanka in 1972, who were the good guys / bad guys? Or in 1977 when the voter over threw socialist policies? Who were the good guys / bad guys in the Sri Lankan civil war that started about 1987 and lasted until 2009? There are always at least 2 sides to all of these social confrontations. You get to choose who you want to side with....as do I.
