Shouldn't the Ukrainians get to choose their own destiny. Why does Russian security (a myth for a nuclear power of their magnitude) become the primary concern? Answer: because given the choice no one wants to be part of Putin's Russia and therein lies the rub. If Putin had half a wit he ask to join Nato...but that would give too much of his precious power to his people.
