The answer to this Lauren is not harrassing SCOTUS, but rather the political leadership that failed to get abortion rights codified into law. If anyone needs such pressure it is them. In 4 of the past 14 years the Democrats have had control of the Presidency, the Senate and the House at the same time and not got this done. I know you know that. This course of action, though it feels good for some, will not get us anywhere. It will only serve to push the probability of codified abortion rights more out of reach. Better to harrass Biden, Pelosi and Schumer and get them to take action rather than sit on their proverbial hands. They, and much of the political world, knew this was coming for a long time yet they did nothing to offset or prepare. Asleep at the wheel, uncaring, just incompetent, or politics as usual?

For anyone cranky about this response, I beleive that abortion should be defined and codified into law to assure the right to take that action. I left the Democratic party because of just this sort of BS. They promoise much but deliver very little.
