What’s your point here Frank? I did not say that protesting was not a right, as I believe it is. I do not believe that pelting police and other peacekeepers with rocks, bricks and Molotov cocktails is protesting. That is rioting. There is a difference. One is lawful and the other is a crime. English common law, which is based largely on past judicial actions, will affirm that.

I think your reference to crazy “gunnuts storming public buildings under the threat of violence” might relate to the actions of some right-wing advocacy groups protesting the lock-down in Michigan. Or perhaps similar folks protesting the idea of losing second amendment rights in Virginia. In either case, if I am correct, I do not agree with the idea of bringing assault rifles to protests, on any side of the political spectrum. However, it is important to note that no one in those protests beat up any innocent mom and pop shop keepers, burned any buildings, robbed, looted or murdered anyone. Nor did they attack the police that were there to protect and defend the rights and lives of the targets of the protest.

As for facts and evidence; the amount of video evidence that has been accumulated during the last couple of weeks of rioting and looting is staggering. It is also undeniable in it’s showcase of bad actors doing bad things. As law enforcement works it’s way through that and identifies the perpetrators of those criminal acts they will bring many to the justice they deserve.

Finally, I’m not sure what a “crisis actor” is, so I will not try to comment on an unknown.

One-time Democrat, came to my senses, opinionated…but evidence based, moderately conservative, have trouble with BS…especially the political variety.
